ENDORSEMENT: Fire Fighters, First Responders Endorse Fitzpatrick

DOYLESTOWN, PABrian Fitzpatrick, former FBI special agent and current candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania’s Eighth District, has received the endorsement of the Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association (PPFFA) which represents 10,000 career professional Fire Fighters, EMT’s and Paramedics throughout the commonwealth, including in Bucks and Montgomery counties.

“As a member of the law enforcement and first responder community, it is an honor to earn the support of the brave men and women who put their lives on the line each day in the service of others,” said Fitzpatrick. “Our elected leaders could learn a lesson from the commitment to service and community demonstrated by our fire fighters, EMS and police. In Congress, this is the attitude I will take to work each day in support of our communities and those who protect them.”

The Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association is a member of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) which represents approximately 300,000 paid professional fire service/emergency service employees in the United States and Canada.

“The 10,000 active and retired members of the PPFFA do not endorse candidates simply for the sake of endorsing; we look to those men and women who exemplify and share our values. Fire fighters, EMT’s and paramedics put their lives on the line every day in the service of those we are sworn to protect.  We see in Brian all those qualities and attributes we’ve come to respect and value,” said Art Martynuska, President of the Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association. “We know Brian will be an advocate for all emergency responders in Pennsylvania as a member Congress and are proud to support his candidacy.”

Brian Fitzpatrick is a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Last month, Fitzpatrick was endorsed by the Pennsylvania Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) for his commitment to addressing drug addiction and keeping our communities safe.
