Bucks County, PA— Today, in a historic national vote of confidence, the AFL-CIO endorsed Brian Fitzpatrick for re-election, making him the only Republican candidate for federal office anywhere in America to earn the federation’s endorsement.
The landmark endorsement affirms Fitzpatrick’s record as one of the nation’s leading independent, pro-worker voices, and recognizes a partnership with organized labor built through years of trust and shared work on behalf of working families.
“To be the only Republican federal candidate in America endorsed by the AFL-CIO is a profound honor—but the meaning of this moment is larger than one candidate or one political party,” said Fitzpatrick. “Working people do not ask whether a solution belongs to the left or the right. They ask whether it will protect their jobs, strengthen their families, and give their children a fair chance at a better future. That is the standard that has guided me from the beginning, and it is the commitment I renew today.”
“Over years of working side by side, the men and women of labor have become far more than political allies. They are my partners, my friends, and my family,” he continued. This endorsement is a vote of trust, and I will honor it by continuing to show up, listen, keep my word, and fight for the people who build, teach, heal, protect, manufacture, move, and sustain America every day. When labor is strong, America is strong.”
The AFL-CIO endorsement adds national weight to the continued momentum behind Fitzpatrick’s campaign. With more than 40 unions now standing with him, alongside the historic support of the Teamsters and Pennsylvania State Education Association, organized labor has delivered a clear verdict: Brian Fitzpatrick has earned its trust by treating workers as governing partners, building relationships that endure beyond election season, and delivering results across party lines.
