Fitzpatrick issues statement on Supreme Court Decision in Janus v. AFSCME

LEVITTOWN, PA— Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick issued the following statement in response to Supreme Court Decision in Janus v. AFSCME:

“I extremely disappointed in the Supreme Court’s decision in the Janus v. AFSCME case. It threatens the ability of public-sector unions to represent the interests of working families in my district and around the country.

Unions don’t benefit just their members, but all working families. This decision will weaken unions ability to represent the concerns of working families and efforts to fight for reforms to improve their lives.

While disappointed in this decision, I stand by the working middle-class families of Bucks and Montgomery counties and will work with my friends in the Labor Community to respond to this poor decision.”
