DOYLESTOWN, Pa.– AFSCME District Council 88, which represents southeastern Pennsylvania’s AFSCME members, has endorsed Brian Fitzpatrick for reelection in Pennsylvania’s First Congressional District.
“Our middle-class working families in Bucks and Montgomery Counties depend upon their ability to organize into unions to secure decent wages, benefits and a sustainable retirement. Working together in a bipartisan manner to secure this type of future for our community is what defines my public service efforts and will continue to do so,” said Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick.
AFSCME District Council 88 is the southeastern Pennsylvania regional subsidiary of AFSCME Council 13 which represents union members across the entire state of Pennsylvania. District Council 88 represents 15,000 employees in the region.
“Our goal is to support candidates who work for the working men and women in Pennsylvania. You [Rep. Fitzpatrick] have proven this with your work for our members in Harrisburg,” said Tom Tosti, Director, AFSCME District Council 88.
