RELEASE: Law Enforcement Community Condemns Scott Wallace’s ‘Dangerous’ Donations

Scott Wallace’s donations to extremist organizations giving voice to cop-killer puts him out of touch with District

Levittown , PA-  Following reports that revealed Scott Wallace bankrolled an extreme leftist organization that gave a voice to cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal from death row, Law Enforcement representatives spoke out condemning the dangerous donations and calling on Scott Wallace to explain his involvement that puts him out of touch with the community.

“These reports are disturbing. Scott Wallace has some explaining to do on why he would support an organization that would give voice to a man convicted of murdering a police officer in cold blood. These donations are dangerous and demonstrate that Scott Wallace is out of touch with our community.”  –John J. McNesby, President Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #5

“If these reports about Scott Wallace funding an organization that clearly supports a man convicted of murdering a police officer in cold blood are true, such actions are reprehensible. In that event, Wallace clearly does not support the law enforcement community and does not have the best interest of the men and women that put their lives on the line every day to protect Bucks County.” – Fred Harran, President of the Bucks County Police Chief Association.

“It sickens me to see a person like Scott Wallace would repeatedly support an organization that gives face time to a Cop Killer. It wasn’t a onetime donation and he later found out about Mumia. It was repeated to the tunes of millions. Bucks County is basically centrist with individuals leaning either right or left. Scott Wallace is way too far left and doesn’t deserve to serve as our representative. He frankly scares me.” – Bob Bray, President of the Bucks County Fraternal Order of Police

“Scott Wallace, having donated nearly $3 million to “Democracy Now!,” the extreme left media organization that gave platform at least 20 times to Mumia Abu-Jamal, a convicted Philadelphia cop-killer who once said on air that the night he killed the officer was when the movement for “justice” began is alarming. Wallace is out of touch with reality. He is clearly weak on crime and this poses risk to all in our community.  Brian Fitzpatrick has dedicated his professional life to protecting others, as an FBI Agent, prosecutor and your congressman. This is a clear choice.” – Retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent Mike Campi
